It is a semester publication that features personal projects or academic work from students like you! We accept poems, essays, creative fiction, creative non-fiction, digital art, paintings, drawings, photos, and even lab reports! If you're passionate about it, we want to showcase it!

Hello! My name is Tatum and I am a fourth year student at Sacramento State, double majoring in Interior Architecture and Art History. Specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art, I hope to work in curatorial studies and exhibition design. Outside of school, I am an astronomy, tattoo, and true crime enthusiast, while depending on coffee and music to fix everything.

My name is Samaria Sylvester, a senior at Sac State. I'm pursuing my BA in English with a minor in Musical Theatre. I also sing in the concert choir and practice ballet online. My two career goals are to work as an editor and in a professional theatre company. I love writing and spend most of my time crafting stories. I also dedicate my time building my musical theatre repertoire and strengthening my dancing skills. I look forward to serving on the Honors Journal.

Hello, I am a History major, and I am minoring in Chicanx and Latinx studies. I am projected to graduate in May of 2022. I enjoy reading historical fiction novels and self-help books. After completing my bachelor's degree, I will apply to graduate school with a focus on public history. Iced Carmel Macchiatos is my go-to coffee drink and I enjoy eating and making tamales.

Howdy. I am a third-year International Relations and Economics Major. I enjoy reading, writing, climbing, and eating french fries. After graduating, I hope to use both of my majors to re-block the Suez Canal.

Hi everyone! I'm Kevin, a fourth year Biology major in Cohort 12. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I am excited and grateful to contribute to the Honors Journal this year. Although I am the STEM editor, I plan to write non-STEM related pieces as well! I hope my articles spark new ideas and give a laugh or two.
